The “Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana” is an ongoing program started by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, to encourage students of Basic Sciences, Engineering and Medicine to take up research careers in these areas. The aim of the program is to identify and encourage talented students with aptitude for research. The scholarships for this program are as follow

Qualification Value

If you are enrolled in XI, XII, Rs. 4000-7000/- p.m.
BSc/InMSc (I or II year)

If you are enrolled I/II year Rs. 5000-7000/- p.m.
B.E., B.Tech or B.Arch

If you are enrolled in Rs. 5000-7000/- p.m.
I/II year of MBBS

Message for Applicants

Sub: KVPY Aptitude Test on 1/11/09 (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.) at 22 centres

 

The students who had applied through online / hard copy and not got / obtained the Admit Card for writing the Aptitude Test on 1/11/09 are requested to contact the Convener / Admin. Officer, KVPY, IISc,  Bangalore - 12 with proof for having sent the filled application to KVPY for issuing the Admit Card.

Those who do not have the Admit Card due to variety of reasons should report to the concerned examination  centre before 9 a.m. on 1/11/09 with proof (copy of the application / ID issued by the schools) and meet the Principal and also the IISc faculty for necessary arrangements.
